Have you ever taken a bite of chocolate and thought to yourself “This needs more tomato flavor?” Yeah, neither have we, but apparently someone in Japan has and created this wonderful concoction.

From Meiji, purveyors of fine food and bizarre food hybrids, this “Chocolate de Tomato” candy bar is designed to help you “learn to love the flavors of nature.” While the logic of combining two highly unlikely foods to form one seemingly unappetizing super food might seem slightly…odd, in Japan it’s highly popular.

Also, it worked for chocolate and raspberries, why not chocolate and tomatoes?
