Japan, being the world’s leader in robotics, is known for producing a range of human-like robots.
Just this month, a Japanese food manufacturer has introduced a new wearable robot named “Tomotan”. It is a tomato-feeding robot that weighs 18-pound. Like an ordinary backpack, it fits on a runner’s shoulder.
Believing that tomatoes are a runner’s best friend, Tomotan helps runners fight fatigue by feeding them tomatoes. The runner only needs to flip a switch on Tomotan’s foot and Tomotan lifts a tomato from its pack and holds it for him to eat.
