North Korean men are now compelled to have their hair cut to resemble their leader, Kim Jong Un.

While this new haircut restriction, called the “Dear Leader Kim Jong Un,” was implemented a little over a month ago, experts say that they have yet to see the effect of it.

If last year, men had a choice from 10 hairstyles, now they would be forced to look a bit like their leader. Strangely enough, Kim Jong Un’s hair was not included in that list.

Maybe the reason for this is that they say that longer hair sucks nutrients from the brain, according to what a program had broadcast during the time of former North Korean leader Kim Jong Il’s reign.

We may never know the reason, but a tip has been given to those who are to do it: trimming your hair every 15 days will keep your hairstyle on par with Kim’s.
