Despite pornography’s being banned nationwide, PB Lifestyle will be opening India’s first Playboy club in Goa.
However, Sanjay Gupta, chief executive of PB Lifestyle, said that traditional Playboy bunny costume will not be shown.
“Bunnies are an integral part of Playboy clubs. For the obvious reasons of Indian morality and sensibilities, we can’t follow the traditional costumes that Playboy bunnies are associated with,” said Mr. Gupta.
New outfits will be revealed during the club’s opening.
Bollywood actress Sherlyn Chopra, the first Indian woman to pose for Playboy, showed her excitement about the project.
“Super excited! It ain’t about nudity. It is about introducing a lifestyle of fun and glamor,” Chopra commented.
This is just one of PB Lifestyle’s many plans. The company plans on opening 120 clubs, hotels, cafes and shops in the next 10 years.
