(中国日报) Burglar-proof doors have been installed for the newly-built top-level toilets in Deyang, Sichuan Province.

The doors are designed to prevent things like the fancy toilets’ sofas from being stolen.

Locals, however, are frustrated by the new toilets, which are kept locked in the early morning.

Since June, the city has spent 3 million yuan (US$369,913) building 54 high-grade toilets, equipping them with lounges, sofas and hi-fi stereo systems.
