I am sure your probably thinking you could have gone on for a lifetime having never known about Singapore Airlines’ ‘Corpse Cupboard’, but then again isn’t that about true for all the news we bring you?

While viewing an interesting Infographic about the crazy stuff that gets held in various flight’s cargo areas, we found out about this ‘corpse cupboard’, which is a new feature on the new Airbus A340-500 aircraft. It is located in a locker next to one of the plane’s exit doors which is long enough to store an average-sized body, with special straps to prevent any movement during landing.

The crew are instructed to use the locker in the case of someone dying on a long flight.
