Marikina City, one of many cities that makes up Metro Manila, holds an annual stiletto race that is open to both women and men of all ages.

Competitors should wear at least three-inch heels, however, and run 500 meters to the finish line.

Marikina City is the Philippines’ shoe capital and celebrates a shoe festival every year.
