Official records list Zeenat Bi as 101 years old, but she says that she is 113.

Standing just three feet tall, this native from Bhopal, India, might take away the current record from Lowell Deforest Mason, who turned 74 this year.

“I am so old that I have seen this city grow up with me. I remember during the British times, this entire city was almost a jungle. There were trees as far as the eye could see,” Bi said.

“I even remember when the British introduced English bread in the city for the first time. It was such a sensation — it was nothing like people had eaten before.”

She also revealed her wish list. It includes meeting Bollywood star Salman Khan, and taking part in the annual Muslim tradition of visiting Mecca.

Never having married, Ms. Bi manages to pass the time on just her pension of 275 rupees (US$5).
