Indian Man Finds Fountain of Youth in Liver Transplant

Executive registrar of the Mudra Institute of Communication and Advertising KGK, Pillai, 61, is living his life in high spirits three years after receiving a 21-year-old donor’s liver back in 2008.

After the transplant, Pillai started not only to feel better but also to look younger. His grey hair turned black again, and his wrinkles went away, all thanks to the new liver.

“I used to take medicine for diabetes…for 12 years. After the transplant, I am off drugs as my sugar levels are mysteriously under control,” said Pillai. “I don’t just look young; I feel like [I was] reborn as a young man.”

Apparently, the blackening of his hair and the improvement in his complexion roots down to the nutrition in the body that the liver has normalized.
