Japanese Women Prefer Pink ‘Game Panties’
Recently, results from a strange survey in Japan were released. The survey aimed to determine the color of “game underwear” most Japanese women have or prefer. Huh? Game what?
In Japan, they have these shobu shitagi, or “game panties” — special underwear for special occasions, if you know what I mean.
The results from the poll, conducted by LClove cosmetics, show that Japanese women’s preferred color of “game panties” actually differs by region.
Back in April, 1,137 Japanese women from all 47 prefectures across Japan were asked to participate in the survey. More than half of them stated pink as their favorite.
Here are the results by prefecture:
Pink: Hokkaido, Iwate, Miyagi, Fukushima, Niigata, Ibaragi, Gunma, Chiba, Kanagawa, Yamanashi, Nagano, Toyama, Gifu, Shizuoka, Aichi, Shiga, Osaka, Tottori, Hiroshima, Ehime, Fukuoka, Kagoshima
Black: Akita, Yamagata, Tochigi, Saitama, Ishikawa, Fukui, Hyogo, Okayama, Shimane, Miyazaki, Yamaguchi, Saga, Oita, Kumamoto, Okinawa
White: Aomori, Kyoto, Wakayama, Kagawa, Nagasaki
Red: Tokyo, Mie, Nara
Other (patterned, etc.): Kochi, Tokushima
For the guys out there, take note of these. You’ll never know when this may come in handy.
