Philippines Monkey Adopts Puppies
The “More Fun in the Philippines” campaign recently highlighted some of what the country can offer. The most interesting report was about a monkey.
What’s so special about the monkey, you ask?
Abak, the monkey, took responsibility in taking care of three puppies as if they were her own. The puppies were born to a sick mother and Abak just took over the mother’s duties, taking care of and feeding them. She even steals food from neighbors and gives it to her “kids.”
The owners even said that they tried giving away one of the puppies, but Abak took it back.
The thought that a monkey would take care of puppies wowed the residents of Barangay Bulanao, in Tabuk City, Kalinga.
