A stray dog in China joined cyclists on their way from Sichuan province to Tibet, a race that covered a total of 1,700 kilometers.

The dog was given the nickname “Xiao Sa.”

Xiao Sa joined the cycling troupe after one of the cyclists, Xiao Yong, 22, gave her a chicken leg.

For 24 days, she traveled with them, almost 60 km per day, climbing 12 mountains, for approximately 1,100 miles. Even more surprising is that she kept up with the cyclists.

Now that’s what I call loyalty.

A blog about Xiao Sa’s remarkable adventure was started by Xiao Yong. The blog attracted almost 40,000 fans by the time the race ended.

Yong now plans to keep Xiao Sa as his own pet.
