18-month-old Chinese Girl Weighs In at 41 lbs.
They say that Asians have a naturally slim physique. Unfortunately, this is not the case for Dan Dan, an 18-month-old girl who has difficulty walking because of her weight. Dan Dan weighs around 19 kg, (about 41 lbs).
Dan Dan’s parents have asked the help of specialists in several hospitals, but even the doctors can’t explain why she has gotten so big.
The mother said that when Dan Dan was born, she was normal in weight. It was only after one month that there was a rapid increase in her weight.
She also said that Dan Dan can’t walk.
Weirdly enough, the parents have said that there are no obese family members. Dan Dan has a five-year-old sister that weighs in about 13 kg, or 28.6 lbs.
