Golden Retriever Loves to Clean Chinese Streets
We all know that many dogs perform a myriad of tricks and are willing to learn countless others in return for their owner’s approval and unconditional love. For one Golden Retriever, devotion and household chores have become inexplicably mingled albeit highly appreciated.
This special dog loves to clean so much that he fills his need to do so by cleaning by sweeping the city streets of Changchun, Jilin Province, while out on his daily jaunts with Xu Ming, his surprised owner. The dog became an online celebrity in China after someone photographed him as he used a broom to sweep the streets while walking on a leash.
His owner directs him to run in zigzag patterns and the dog always turn around to face his owner to make sure he is doing it right. His need for approval is always rewarded.
“He is very smart and tame. I decided that I would use some of my spare time to train him to do something special… To my surprise, what he seems to love best is sweeping up, so I made him a little broom which he takes with him everywhere,” said proud owner, Xu.
Who’s to say what can make a dog happy? It seems, that the streets of this province in China are indeed cleaner because of this amazing animal and his efforts.
