There are a lot of things you can do with a $750,000 Lamborghini Gallardo. Driving it tops the list, while letting in sit in your driveway to give off the impression that you’re important is a close second. Coming in third, of course, is smashing the ever-loving crap out of it with sledgehammers.
That’s precisely what one Chinese entrepreneur did when his car wouldn’t start and the dealer, located in Qingdao, failed to correct the issue. After being picked up by truck and supposedly fixed, it was returned to the owner, who found that not only would the car not start, but the chassis and bumper were also damaged.
The owner of the car and the dealership went back and forth in an attempt to get the problem resolved. Unfortunately, the entrepreneur felt actions spoke louder than words and, with the help of a group of men he hired, smashed the Lamborghini with sledgehammers. The kicker? The event, which reduced the value of the car by what can only be described as “a whole Hell of a lot,” was held on World Consumer Rights Day.
One can presume the entrepreneur acted rather….hastily in his decision to destroy such a valuable car, but I imagine if you have enough money to buy a $750,000 car, you have enough money to smash it buy another one.
