Strange Sights from China Fashion Week

Posted on January 23, 2010

Fashion designers recently went all out and put together a weird mix of creations for the China Fashion Week which was held in November 2009. A bi-annual event, the Fashion Week showcases the latest creations of prominent brand names as well as the works of the upcoming folk.

The real highlights of this particular show was the bizarre pieces conjured up by the graduates of different fashion institutes.

Resembling a strange shield system for a ninja, this particular design is solely focused on the model’s molecule-shaped exterior.

Time is of the essence and it is fitting that students who spent the past year in a classroom setting would key in on this concept. On the other hand, the designer seems to obsess on a particular time slot, namely 10:10.

This ensemble that consists of baggy sleeves and headpiece made of polyhedron pieces ends up as an unexpected tribute to Bond-style evil geniuses.

Dubbed as Mrs Darth Vader by some of the Western news sources, this top-heavy design is hard to decipher.

Some of the graduates also got in touch with their inner child and came up with rather colorful creations.

Just pointing out that if you go into a clock store (or clock aisle or anyplace they sell new clocks) that the hands will all be set at 10:10
