When it comes to game shows, Japan has the monopoly on the weird and the insane. Arguably the most popular is Takeshi’s Castle, from which the smash US hit Most Extreme Challenge arose, though smaller, even crazier game shows exist.

Although the show that features buxom Japanese ladies trying to catch the most coins in their cleavage is definitely an eye opener, one can’t help but enjoy the athletic prowess that goes into launching oneself across a basketball court from a trampoline to make a slam dunk.

Although there is no translation, and learning from what show this remarkable feat of human propulsion comes is thus impossible (unless you know Japanese), this is no hindrance to the enjoyment one gains from watching someone risk breaking his leg (or worse, neck) just so he can break some seemingly insignificant record.
