Japanese “Snuggie” Resembles Giant Sleeping Bag

The Snuggie is one of those fads that will never be fully understood, both in terms of its use and why exactly anyone would actually want to own one. Its status as cultural phenomenon became apparent when people started organizing Snuggie Walks through bars and dressing their dogs up in a miniature versions of the “blanket with arms.”

Naturally, it was only a matter of time before the Japanese got in on the trend and completely twisted it to the point where it destroys any semblance of sanity.

In what looks like a bizarre fetish, Japan has introduced their own version of the Snuggie that resembles a sleeping back – or giant trash bag – with legs and a hood. Only the feet and head are exposed, ensuring you’ll look absolutely insane as you walk down the street.

Somehow, Japan made the Snuggie even weirder.
