Impromptu Dog Walk Results in Fine for Couple
Driving with a dog in the car can always be a bit of a hassle. Unless yours is properly trained, you’re more often than not subjected to an animal bouncing from front seat to back, barking at passing cars and doing everything in their power to stick their heads out the window to enjoy the air.
But what if your dog gets sick?

The smart thing to do would be to pull over for a few minutes, preferably at a rest stop, and see if your pet feels better. The foolish thing to do would be to walk the animal on the expressway and have your significant other follow in the car. Not only is this incredibly dangerous, but it could result in a fine, as a couple on their way to Wuhan, Hubei province in China learned.
Insisting that their dog felt “carsick,” the young woman walked the animal on the expressway itself while the husband followed her. Police in Wuhan fined them approximately 50 yuan, which amounts to a meager $7 for what appears to be a minor transgression in the eyes of the law.
I guess it’s a good thing they didn’t cause an accident then. The fine might have been 100 yuan.
