However, even after the manufacturing is done there is more to the price than manufacturing and shipping, many of the intellectual property rights still put money in America's pocket. So even if an Ipod is made in China, the parts come from different countries, including Japan who gets a cut, and the intellectual property rights go back to America and we get a cut. etc. China has really poor intellectual property rights laws and many people there sell pirated movies for way cheaper than Blockbuster can compete with.
