The course of true love may not always run smooth, but don’t tell that to 19 year-old Sajnu Amir Dangar, a jobless teacher, presumed dead after committing suicide by lighting her own funeral pyre.

She staged the entire drama so that she could elope with her beloved, another teacher, who belonged to a different caste.

She is back from the ashes now, as local police have tracked her down via phone records and found her married and living in Agarwada village in Panchmahals. Sajnu had graduated with a teaching diploma and left her family last month.

She then addressed a suicide note to her loved ones, telling them she wanted to die because she was unable to find a suitable job.

For an intelligent girl, it seems odd that it did not occur to her that the lack of bodily remains would arouse suspicion. Police dialed the number that had been called the most frequently on the woman’s phone and discovered Kamlesh Patel, another teacher at the same school where Sajnu had worked for a brief period of time.

At first, he denied knowing her but the jig was up, and soon after she called her parents and told them the truth.

The police bought her back home.

Will the course of true love defy tradition and run smoothly?

Only time will tell.

Love the ultimate topic – right from the first sin of Adam and Eve to this very episode of love, why cant people just accept the fact and allow the love birds to flourish, and what else would have projected this drama – the fear of the society of accepting their love.

Lets hope time will change, not us but may be to forthcoming progeny would change something for some concern.
