Spirit Detains Burglar for 3 Days in Home
A Malaysian couple, who were on vacation, returned home to find a 26 year-old man passed out on the floor from fatigue and dehydration. They quickly called an ambulance and then filed a report with the police.

The burglar told the Police that after he entered through the back door, he was blinded and felt as though he was in a cave. “Each time I wanted to flee, I felt a ’supernatural figure’ shoving me to the ground.”
He was held captive by the spirit for 3 days without food or water.
Abdul Marlik Hakim Johar, a Police official, said the burglar was in stable condition at the Kemaman Hospital.

Wow, spiritual matters have such a strong influence over people. We should keep an eye on this strong force over the human mind. In the wrong hands this type of irrational thought process can cause people to do bad things, like fly planes into buildings. It would be a shame if something like that happened. We should be on guard about religion.

religion and spirituality–well, thats a tough one. there is really no tangible scientific evidence to back it up. but, still, you can accept it for its own sake, and hold it as your personal beliefs. religion, after all, is practically a philosophic set of standards for behavior

Greg dont be a smartass you know what Crypes meant, and if you dont you need to put in some more work on the streets haha. Greg is right about one thing though, you shouldn’t downgrade religion because of any ghosts actions. These ghosts are probably poor souls lost and trapped on Earth forever for possibly not being good people when they were alive. As far as I know at least in my religion we praise God our Lord and father of our Savior Jesus Christ. If people followed the the rules that God left behind in his word (Bible – Sacraments, 10 Commandments)or at least to the best of their ability their soul would go to heaven. For those who worship Satan or completely do the opposite of the Lords word [e.g. murder, steal, lie, or are just haters (covet)]for most of their life they are probably going to go to hell (notice how I use the terms “probably” and “possibly” for neither I or you are the ones to judge). So yea thats how I figure that ghosts here on Earth are probably stuck somewhere in the middle of these 2 different class of people. Either they were Atheist, or they did both bad and good, but mostly bad.. and their curse is for their souls to be stuck roaming the Earth (or area where they died) invisible to the naked eye. No doubt about it the supernatural world (as we humans recognize it as) does exist I can vouch for that from my own personal experience. Just because science cant explain something doesn’t mean it doesnt exist. Afterall what the hell do we humans think we know absolutely everything and if we cant see it, touch it, hear it or smell it doesnt exist, its not real? Give me a break, were going into 2009 get over it start believing and be a good person so you dont become a ghost yourself muahahaha!
P.S. I love science because it explains in detail all the miracles of how God created our universe and how he created our amazing complex bodies that only something not human could’ve came up with hence, God.

Sorry one more thing I forgot to mention. Ok so I need everyone to put your common sense or logic hats on. This burglar was oriented enough to either hop the gate or make his way into this residents backyard and even go in through the back door. Im guessing to this burglar this was suppose to be an easy job, in and out. Little did he know that he walked into the wrong house. A home haunted by a ghost of a someone who was once alive and probably died in that home. And boy did that ghost sure kick his a** detaining him there for three days leaving him fatigued and dehydrated from trying to flee from this invisible force and being stuck without food or water for 3 days hah.

There are no spirits and your deity likely does not exist.
Science pulls truth from observations, and has proven your deity wrong again and again throughout time. The Earth was formed from proto-planetary matter around the recently collapsed sun; not created first in nothingness and then the sun later. Adam and Eve could not be our ancestors, our genetic diversity is proof we humans existed in large populations for tens of thousands of years. And that’s just the first three chapters of the first book of the Bible.

I’ll tell you what anonymous. first of all I gotta let you know you gave me quite a laugh when I first read your comment, not because I think your full of s***, but because you attempted to defend science and you used the word “prove” (”and has proven your deity wrong again and again throughout time”). In science nothing is ever “proved” and if you were a true fan of science you would know this golden rule. May I remind you that in science any new evidence can come up at any moment, thereofore adjusting conclusions of any theories and the word “prove” does not exist in the science dictionary. Science is truely something amazing, unfortunately science is only based off of what us humans can do or discover with our human made tools or our natural 5 senses. Our world is physically there we can see it, touch it, smell it, and hear it. Science explains things through the knowledge of humans in the flesh. The spiritual world is a different world, a world not of ours (humans), therefore we cant see it, smell it, touch it or hear it. We arent meant to understand it, at least not until after we get there. But that is why our creator God left us his rule book and inside also the history of what went on in the past and how everything came to be. His word (The Bible) explains what’s really going on during our short and temporary life here on Earth and what will happen in the after life which is the life that is eternal. I dont know about ya’ll but I care more about my eternal life after I pass away then this short temporary life. You can think of it as an ultimate test from God where we are set free to do whatever we want here on Earth. We have the choice to do right or to do wrong and only the righteouss will get to spend their eternal life(afterlife) with God. Personally Im a pretty down to Earth person I always try to keep it as real as possible. I most definitly would not believe in something unless I had reason to. Believe me when I say God has shown me more than enough evidence to PROVE to me that he exists over and over again. God tries to show everybody (I think, or at least for sure those who have faith) one way or another and of course only in forms that we humans would be able to see, wether hes trying to tell you something through your parents or your friends or anybody or anything here on Earth. There is no question or doubt in my mind that he is there always, watching our actions and listening to every thought that processes through our minds. Aside from all the bulls*** I’ll tell you what anonymous, I guess we’ll both find out when we die or if the world ends before we die, and I dont know about you but im staying on the safe side, see you at the crossroads brother and goodluck

And where is your “defensible evidence” to the contrary? If you want to chime off sounding smart…then say something smart. Maybe it was an extra-dimensional being (go ahead, look it up)…that’s a scientific theory that supports the ideas surrounding any religion. Religion, among other things, is mans attempt to explain things that are unexplainable. If anyone has a problem accepting something they don’t understand, then they are narrow minded and arrogant to believe they are enlightened enough to discredit any theory.
“I’m not an atheist and I don’t think I can call myself a Atheist.”
- Albert Einstein (Are you more enlightened than this man?)
“Supernatural”, “spirits”, “ghost”…these are just words to identify things we don’t understand…this doesn’t mean we will never.

Let me sum it up real nice ghosts exist based on consciousness being never ending good or bad energy will still be around regardless…upon death there is an unexplainable weight change in the human body… upon the moment of death it loses a certain amount of weight above normal levels after you factor in air and excrement leaving…it is said that this is the consciousness exiting the body with the weight of it’s experiences…that consciousness goes on to (forgive the expression)god knows what else…what I do know is that we are all made of the same atoms as everything else in the universe and everywhere beyond… we are all the same and also by that logic we are all god… I apologize if that idea is offensive but do your research the idea of god was created at a time when we didn’t know much about the world, the universe, and how it all worked we created god in our image not the other way around we manifest miracles, supernatural acts, etc….and we also manifest our own misfortune we need to change our mindset as a species and we need to change the way we function as a whole society planet wide… money is useless any way you slice it so it’s time to phase it out and evolve above it we have enough resources for the entire planet to live in excess if we so desired but when 1% of the population controls the wealth this will never happen…greed is the worst thing to happen to the human race and whoever said money is the root of all evil wasn’t lying…it’s time to stop acting like primates we’re better than this don’t you think so?

Cutting all the BS, here’s the reality of it all and what it boils down to.
We don’t know what the truth of the matter is until we know all the facts.
That is, cut all BS aside and consider 3 factors. 1) how credible are all the sources in this article? if we know they are all good then 2) Was this guy’s mental state altered?(drugs, alcohol, he’s needs medication and hasn’t taken it, hes retarded or has a history of lying or hallucinating), we don’t know article doesn’t say, this would easily be a determing case if we did now, if not 3)Has there ever been reports or data that shows supernatural activity within that same house? A different angle to look at things, but nonetheless an important one; perchance there are reports of different people who report the similar unexplained phenomena at the same location(look up mothman).
Once issue goes to step 3 we are all at a real loss, because we can’t prove if the spiritual dimension is invisible and is completely around us, or is in our heads. The third one states, there are forces beyond our scientific reason that cannot be identified or can not be proven in our lifetime is all the reason it is called faith. You don’t know, but this doesn’t mean it is not there. Scientific logic for all its beauty can build a staircase to the heaven like a monkey uses a rock as a tool, and with its growing glory we cannot use it to build faith the size of a spec of dust, for God can never be proven. Be careful how you reason, it is good to rely on logic, proof, and truth, but sometimes the truth cannot be proven,

This, kids, is why you don’t rob houses while tripping on acid.
And to those who say spirituality is necessary for a full life; no, it isn’t. Maybe you need and/or enjoy it and it fulfills a role for you, but some of us are perfectly happy without it.
Rejecting spirituality/religion/whatever other superstition/UFO-sighting is not closed-mindedness (I really hate this term as it’s so over-used on the Internet by people that can’t deal with people disagreeing with their often indefensible “beliefs”). I just means that a person disagrees. Much of the time, this person has listened to arguments from both/all sides and rationally, logically arrived at his conclusion, the very opposite of closed-mindedness!
On “respecting one’s beliefs” – sorry, no. You do not get a “Get Out of Jail Free” card just because it’s “your belief”. If you believe some goofy nonsense, I will call you on it. I respect your right to believe whatever you like, as I believe that is important in a free society, but saying “those are my beliefs” in no way means that I am somehow wrong for feeling contempt rather than respect for your belief.
Sorry.
Wait, no I’m not.

The answer too your question is, “no”. Those that practice various religions, namely: Muslims, Jews and Christians. Have a tendency to practice faith over knowledge. Nearly all religions teach their followers to be ignorant of scientific and secular teachings. I couldn’t name any exceptions at the moment for lack of references.
You have to realize that these fools have been fighting about who’s god is the best for 3 thousand years. They fail to realize that the they are worshiping the same God. Their bibles all relate to the same teachings, philosophies and mythologies. Not mention that each have stolen from every other religion that came before theirs (a subject that is a lot to get into at the moment).
So we who do not believe, are more open minded, because we do not withhold knowledge. We do not rely on magical and mystical deities to explain the world and the universe around us. If you knew anything about religion, you would understand that they are taught (for the most part) to not question God. They say, “God said all things come from him and are of him.” And they follow blindly. Starting wars and constantly try to force feed everyone their beliefs. They lack the ability to reason with anything beyond their blind faith in their invisible man in the sky.
So who is not open minded? I think you need to define what being open minded means to you.

I am no longer Catholic for other reasons, but not because of conflicting views concerning knowledge and faith.

I have read health textbooks in Catholic school and in public schools that all agree that health is a combination of mental, physical, and spiritual wellness. They also claim that the best way to a full life is to balance all three. To be spiritual also does not necessarily mean to be religious. There is a difference.
Furthermore, not all religious denominations come knocking at your door. I suggest being less narrow-minded when speaking about religions. (As a small note, I am not religious, but I will not criticize people for following religions. I will, however, criticize the religion.)

There are documented cases that have even been backed up by photographs of the supernatural and determined legitimate by the experts in the scientific field. As I said there is evidence out there, you just need to be more informed.Start with your local library.

I think some people reject the theory of life after death because of simple fear. Because if an after life is possible then God may be possible. In some minds with God comes judgement and I think thats why the whole idea of any kind of after life is rejected by some. As I have said there is proof out there of life after death but if your fearful you certainly wont go looking for it, will you?

close-mind•ed (klÅs’mÄ«n’dÄd, klÅz’-)
adj. Intolerant of the beliefs and opinions of others; stubbornly unreceptive to new ideas.
close’-mind’ed•ness n.
Close-mindedness can come from creationists or naturalists. It’s all dependant on whether or not your are tolerant of other’s beliefs and opinions.
I personally don’t think that the above was a person’s spirit, but I do believe in God and spirit creatures! In fact I believe it was a fallen angel (demon). According to how I interpret the bible, only fallen angels can now interact with humans, and dead humans are aware of nothing – for now . . .
