It isnt shameful, considering English is not their first language. Translating straight from one language to another would in most of the time create some confusion and perhaps making the intended message

Just because it is a university, it doesnt mean they should know everything. There are universities in many different countries, but it doesnt mean we know every countries languages.

What Im saying is, give them a break.
