Luo, a local villager from Hanshan, China, did not return home from work during lunch as she does on a daily basis.

Her husband, worried for her safety, went to some cotton fields nearby where Luo worked.

While looking for his wife, the husband noticed a large snake trail and immediately became nervous that his wife might have been attacked by a snake.

A few minutes of searching later he came upon a large Python with a belly so full it could not move.

The husband knew immediately that his wife had been eaten by this snake and he ran off to find some local villagers to help.

They returned moments later and shot the snake in the head. They quickly cut the snake open and found Luo inside the snakes stomach.

Unfortunately they did not find her in time and she did not survive the ordeal.

Urban legend my ass the real scenario over 100 years ago would be a fact snakes before expeditions, a snake 50 feet long was not uncommon and in Bornio where Retics and Anacondas could reach such lengths were regarded as spirits of the dark side. there were many who would be cosumed to apiezs the gods and consumed alive usually a warrior from another tribe PETESEYESBLUE from Canada.

since pythons tend to suffocate their prey before ingesting them, she probably wasn’t alive when it ate her. still, a terrible way to go…

this is not news nor did it happen in China. as the first commenter noted, this has been around for a long time.

lots of other interesting news items everyday in Asia..some of the photos of normal daily life are quite amazing…some of the photos I’ve seen of people transporting goods to market in very unusual vehicles would be enightening to us who do not live in Asia.

Hey Dumb ass. Do some research before you post things. The pictures are staged. It's fake. Look it up. Think about it. If you cut open a snake wouldn't there be blood and organs inside? Not to mention that anyone who has ever owned a snake will tell you that a meal is not coming out of a snake that clean. Their stomach acids would be dissolving the skin off the tissue. This story has been floating around the internet for years. Also, Indian Pythons don't live in Hanshan, China. This is why people are afraid of snakes. Because morons make up stories about how they are all giant man eating monsters.

Actually the snake would have taken up to 12 months to digest something that size so she could well have been in good condition. Not that I’m disputing your case, I think you’re probably right, but your last point was not :)

actually look up the NGC channel on the python who ate the alligator. the hydrochloric acid is extremely powerful in pythons, and soft human skin would be gone in 24 hours

Hell I remember this almost 10 years ago when my teacher stumbled on this. He read that it was a South American oil driller who snuck away during his lunch break, took a nap, and ended up getting eaten by the snake. The rest of the crew found him later on.

I remember these EXACT pictures in that one too.
