Real Life Pikachus Auctioned for $925 Million
If you are a fan of anything Japan, then you have to know about Pikachu, the main character from the internationally famous cartoon Pokemon.
Some lucky people received the chance of a lifetime last new years eve, when a man claiming to have discovered a Pikachu forest offered to catch live Pikachus for around $925 million each through a Yahoo! Japan Auction.
The auction limited the number of Pikachus that would be caught to 20 and with the purchase of 3 months of Pikachu food, the seller would provide a 60 minute training video to help teach new owners how to properly raise a young Pikachu.
We figure anyone who was willing to pay the $925 million probably ended up with something like this in the mail:

The bottom one is just a rat, duh, whoever wrote the article was kidding saying he thinks it’s a hoax and that is what the people that buy them will receive, a rat made to look like a pikachu. As for the top picture, it’s legit, that’s what they actually look like, and I’m thinking about finding where this pikachu forest is and catching some for myself maybe, 925 million dollars a pikachu, big bucks, plus it would be killer to have one for myself.

Sorry to hear that. The story is that some really stupid person created an auction selling fake Pikachus at Yahoo Auctions. I thought it was funny and the questions on the Auction where funny.
We focus on weird and crazy things that happen in Asia and this is weird and strange..

Well, it could be photoshopped, who knows, seeing how technologies grow these days, but it could be real too.
Let’s not be too narrow minded and just see how things are. When the video is out, we’ll see how.
If it is real, however, the seller of them has got to be careful.

To all you flamers out there, stop stereotyping photoshop as a tool for false illustrations. If you think whatever can be done just by using photoshop, why don’t YOU go and use it yourself and try to make a pikachu out of a rat. If you can make it look this real then fine. Maybe its edited then fine, but you don’t have to find every flaw out of it right? Do you know what is appreciation? Can your standards of art even get near this? Get a photo of a rodent and PHOTOSHOP it, EVEN IF PHOTOSHOP IS A VERB. Talent and skills are needed to master PS, but most of all its the BRAIN. This is ridiculously photoshopped. I mean, look at its eyes! Eliminate the chunks of white and you get little, itty-bitty eyes. Scary. Yeah, maybe some of it is real, but you never know.
1/2 photoshopped; 1/2 air-brushed. Poor thing, it must have died by now.

I've dyed mice, its possible it was dyed but unlikely, mice are wriggly when you dye them so it wouldn't get the marking so straight.
