China Using Surface-To-Air Missiles to Protect Olympics

China has been preparing pretty hard for the coming Olympics. They have already banned a large group of troublemakers from leaving Shanghai during the entire event and they also banned all bald and smelly cab drivers.

So just how seriously is China taking safety precautions for the upcoming Olympics?

Serious enough to have set up two separate camouflaged surface-to-air missile stations, with infrared radar systems, less than a mile from the 2008 Olympic venues to help with protection for the coming events.

Of course “made in China”, the “Red Flag-7″ missile systems can take down a target anywhere up to 8 miles away with a 80-90% success rate.

The Chinese government has stepped up their precautions over fears of terrorism from Tibetan separatist and the Xinjiang Muslims, although we highly doubt either groups have aircraft that would need to be shot down…

As an added precaution, all people who live in any sort of basement have been forced to move out of their homes and all basements in the area have been closed completely.

Gosh, these people are paranoid!!! Soon they will start:
a) stripping their travelers from their shoes, belts, and protheses, and force them to go pretty much naked through their airports’ checkpoints, freely groping foreign female travelers’ bossoms and bottoms for the sake of security,
b) setup domestic “patriotic” laws (aimed at foreigners, of course) that take away individuals’ freedom of privacy,
c) half brew a lame excuse to wage war against other countries and then re-label the effort on the fly as a “humanitarian venture”, and finally
d) enhance the sense of fear in the population by depicting all foreigners in their media as a national security threat, whether it is a South American drug dealer, an Eastern European sour and ambitious Cold War veteran, a Middle-Eastern terrorist, an African/Caribbean good-for-nothing thug, a Western European greedy, hypocrit and envious profiteer or a Far-Eastern murderous Yakuza or Triad member.
Of course, that would be going too far, wouldn’t it?
