This great Thai commercial just goes to show that even something as boring as light bulbs can be made into an awesome and funny advertisement.

The Sylvania commercial recently won a well-deserved gold prize at the Cannes Lions Awards.

I actually went to a seminar by the guy who created the first commercial. He’s a very down to earth guy and very very funny! He graduated from Pratt

Nope, that’s if they said “Nothing is scary with not enough light to see it clearly” … Just kiddin’!

I have also seen a good share of awesome Asian commercials. There is a “mini-series” of a Thai anti-pimple cream that had me laughing to tears. I will forward you a link to it… the day I find it.

All of these were excellent examples, but the one of the light bulbs had me bursting by the seams!

All these Thai ads are so entertaining, I’m sure if more people do these kinds of ads here, they will sell more products haha.

Yes, thai ads are REALLY the best in the world — Phenomena ad studios (thai) also happens to have bagged many prestigious ad awards, including one recently for bagging the most awards! Thai ads are distinctively entertaining, funny, and low budget.
