Restaurant in China Helps Identify Prostitutes
You would think that if you were a prostitute you would know it, but one poor establishment has had to go to go to great lengths to help inform unknowing call girls that they are indeed prostitutes… and that they are not welcomed.
Zapata’s Mexican Cantina, a bar and restaurant in Shanghai, China, states it clearly in their sign that “if you are unsure whether or not you are a prostitute, please ask one of their friendly security guards to sort it out for you.”

They probably mean to say, “…If you are unsure whether or not you are WITH a prostitute…” That way the security guards can help you from some *honest* mistake.

Em….. i think that is not true. the chinese language part does mean ‘if you are unsure your identity (whether or not you are a prostitute), please ask our security guards for help.’

Surely it’s obvious…..
Any local girl with a Western man is obviously a prostitute. Because as we all know, Western men only ever travel to Asia as sex tourists. Far be it from reasonable consideration that a Western man might choose to live and work in Asia. And it is completely inconceivable that a Western man might form friendships with local ladies who are not prostitutes, but are in fact doctors, and engineers, accountants etc.
So make sure you don’t let them bring their whore mistresses into your establishment. You are quite justified in treating such ladies like the trash that they obviously are…….
Yes indeed the staff of these most saintedly moral establishments are such a good judge of these circumstances.

This Restautant may be doing these girls a favor. It may be a wake up call and they may just change because of it, I sure hope so. Prostitution is one of the biggest waist of womanhood and I am on the owner’s side. For a female to sell herself to anyone is just another form of slavery and the only one that benifits from it is the low life Pimp.
Aside from all that they help in the spread of every STD you can imagine. To some this is just a laugh until some you know has the disease or catch it yourself and then it’s no laughing matter.
These girls are also adding to our already outragious healthcare costs because their victims, oh I’m sorry “customers”, go to public clinics paid for by OUR taxes or to an ER and never pay the bill,,,again causing us, U.S., tax payers to foot the bill through higher insurance rates and some morons think it’s funny. Sad isn’t it.

funny thing: zapata’s is a very popular bar with the expats/ english teachers in shanghai. i hate personally never seen any prostitudes there although you see them almost everywhere around shanghai. dont mess with zapata’s (free tequilla every night in the weekend), or i will mess with you!. be warned.

Heh, I actually ate there back in 2001, their food was pretty decent.
As for prostitutes, yeah it’s a major problem in Shanghai. When going out for drinks or to a club I was warned not to even casual talk to girls who approach you. They may try to charge you a talking fee for just doing that, and if you refuse you get hussled by their pimp.
It better nowadays compared to back in 2001, regardless though, you still see it all over Shanghai.
(if you would like to see taller girls go to Beijing =P )

It is translated correctly. The sentence starting in the 4th line translates roughly to “If you are unsure of your own identity, …”

check out legal prostitution in Nevada, they tax it so it makes money for the local governments and it helps prevent STD's by forcing prostitutes to get checked every week and to have a license to work. These women who work in Nevada are not forced to be prostitutes, they do it because they love their jobs and they make a lot of money. But I digress, this article talks about prostitution in China, not in the US. However, I had to point out some flaws in your statement. If every state had controlled legalized prostitution, then the issues you mentioned would almost vanish (note I said almost).
