DAME! Don’t Feed the Monkeys

When traveling through the right parts of Japan, you are likely to see a few monkeys from time to time. You are guaranteed to see a bunch of signs that indicated you should not feed the monkeys you do see.

Monkeys are cute, but how cute is a fat monkey, or a super fat monkey?

This overweight Macaca Mulatta monkey lives in a zoo at Ohama park in Sakai, Osaka Prefecture, Japan.

Due to the visitors ignoring the signs that restrict feeding the monkeys, about 16 of the total 50 monkeys in that zoo are overweight.

Holy f*ck, is that monkey waving at us? Oh, sh*t, It understood us! Maybe it’s some kind of supermonkey. What if there’s more supermonkeys up at that lab?

A healthy Macaca mulatta monkey weighs about 20lbs but one of these chunkies is over 56lbs

Damn! It’s like the monkey version of Dom DeLuise, only the hat is missing.

It’s a shame they let visitors feed them.

Learn to read, it says there are signs saying not to feed them. This means they DON’T let visitors feed them, but obviously you can’t watch every single person that goes in.
