Americans, after the 'Dollar Crash" will mount Fresnel lenses in their back yards and Bar-B-Q for free – possibly eating possum and other rodents as meat, who's production is oil dependent will disappear from the store-shelves! Beware! The next down cycle in the American economy hides in its trough the greatest depression ever! and the total collapse, of the American dollar, of the world financial system, then the rise of the 'Yuan" as the new currency of international trade! More Solar cooking will be seen in this new world, and Fresnel lenses large, durable, enough to make cooking practical will be manufactured in China, outside bull Shiite Yankee patent law, and made available to all mankind at reasonable cost. A new world is dawning as humanity frees itself from American corporatism, propaganda, and solar cooking is one sign of this evolution!

I run a blog on solar cookers, so I am familiar with the technology pretty much in every way, but roasting chickens, I must admit this took me by surprise! I didn't think you have enough power for it, especially it is not a closed box that keep the heat inside. Interesting...
