Slippery Bugger
Inventions are essential. Take the toilet, an airplane, or even the internet, all of which have helped change the way we live.
Sometimes inventions that might seem practical are just plain weird, like the Cockroach Swatting Slipper, which allows you to extend a handle on the heel, turning it into an effective bug swapper.

“Research has shown that the slipper is already the preferred instrument for indoor cockroach swatting, with up to 80% of householders preferring indoor footwear to rolled up newspapers or paperback books. With telescoping handles you can operate from longer range with greater accuracy - no more desperate throwing of slippers as the scuttler disappears behind a sofa. Ideal for those who can’t, or won’t, get too close the their prey.”

I wish the world was a fly and I’m a giant rolled up newspaper.
this is stupid and cool at the same time…
i want one (^_^)
Totally agreed.
With a protrusion that long, one can easily trip, causing you to fall on your “prey”. No need to swat the nasty bug.It looks stupid, and dangerous.
I would find the useful but i rather not walk around with bug juice on the bottom of my shoe
1. With the size of roaches around here, you might prefer a bazooka!
2. Held from the opposite end, it is also helpful to turn off the TV when you don’t find (again) the &$#/% remote control (just watch that roach squashed on the bott… nevermind).
3. Have you ever tried to kill a tarantula or a scorpion with a shoe!!!??? Only then I understood Andy Singer when killing the spider the size of a Buick in Annie Hall’s bathroom…
It was Alvy Singer, my bad.
