More Prizes Added to the Design Contest
Since the launch of the Weird Asia News Design Contest, we have received quite a few emails asking questions as well as offering to sponsor some additional prizes for the winners and participants of the contest.
First I would like to thank all the people who helped get the word out by blogging and sending emails about the contest. Thanks Neil, Todd, Marcus, and Brent.
Sponsor Prizes:
Todd Malicoat, Stuntdubl.com, offered to “send Guitar Hero to the winner as well, because really…what would a playstation be without guitar hero (I might even come over to your house and thrash through Tom Morello and Knights of Cydonia for you).”
Shortly after Alexis Ohanian, co-founder of Reddit.com, offer to provide the winner of the contest a Reddit package containing a wobble head, shirt, stickers, buttons, and a postcard signed by all the people at Reddit.com.
Brian from Pingo, a prepaid international calling card company, is providing the 1st and 2nd place winner an international calling card with up to 5,000 minutes on them and valued at $100 each. Additionally they will be offering anyone who even enters the contest a free calling card with up to 250 minutes on them and valued at $5 each.

Additional Contest Information and Reminders:
- Anyone over 18 years of age can enter the contest, but the prizes can only be awarded to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia.
- You may submit more than one design in this contest.
- Here is a larger image that was used to make our logo – (image).
- We do not know what font was used to make the header.
