Hotel Offers Guard Dog Toilets

Have you ever went to travel and realized that it is just too hard to find a room that will accoomodate your guard dog?

Well worry no more… Keio Plaza Hotel, located in Shinjuku, Japan, has installed the first ever toilet for guard dogs inside of their hotels.

The first installment was on a balcony on the second floor, but the hotel had to move it to an area near the lobby floor of the south building so that wheelchairs could easily make use of the facility.

Maybe with a little luck all hotels will offer pet restrooms.

By the time the dog reaches the toilet,he probably defecated along his route.

    The signs should say:

“Beware of Guard Dog! It will eat you and turn you into poo”

(OK I know it’s a childish comment… but it’s just so hard to find something humorous to say about doggy do)

    “guide dog”. not “guard dog”.
it makes a lot of sense, given the lack of grassy areas in shinjuku and the difficulty a blind hotel guest might have in finding one conveniently in a strange city.

How helpful for elderly people. Couldn’t it be commercialized for flat ? I now 20 years ago a dog cabin was sold in France for such purpose. But it had to stop for lack of success among … the dogs. I would like to know more about it. Tks.
