106 Year-Old Man Gets Married
Sometimes when people get old they stop looking for love. These two lovely seniors in China did the opposite when they got married recently.
Pan Xiting, 106 years-old, and Chen Adi, 81 years-old, met eight years ago and just recently were married.

“Now, we are a family and we will never separate from each other until death,” Pan said.
Pan’s first wife had passed away more than 20 years ago and Chen’s ex-husband died 11 years ago. They deny their love was at first sight, but grew over time as Chen was taking care of Pan.
The couple is one of the oldest to have ever been married and were three years short of their combined age from taking the Guinness World Record.
Record or not it is a great story of love and youth of heart and we wish them the best of luck.

The question is how did he make it through the excitement of the wedding day – Chinese weddings usually involve a bunch of standing and drinking, but he was probably exempt from most of it.

Am I reading something wrong? Did it say that these are Japanese people? Their names look Chinese to me, and judging by the red communist symbol behind them, they look like they’re in China.

So what if they are chinese? That doesn’t mean they can’t get married in Japan. I bet the pensions are better in Japan. If it said it was in England, and they had french names, would you complain?
On the other hand, what is pathetic is the spelling:
“love at first site”? No.
“love at first sight”? Yes

well…. the symbol behind them are belongs to replublic of china. and the little red book they hold in their hands are also belong to chinese citizens.
so chances of seeing both symbol and the booklet in japan is quite slim.
cheer man.

From the linked article:
“…a 106-year-old man and a 81-year-old woman got married in east China’s Zhejiang province…”
They were in China so the blog post is in error.

Yeah yeah.. It is China. Was never believed to be Japan and was just a typing mistake. You do enough from various places and sometimes you type it wrong.
Trust me… will probably happen again..
