Welcome to my Piano House, Step into my Violin

This unique piano house was built recently in An Hui Province, China. Inside of the violin is the escalator to the building. The building displays various city plans and development prospects in an effort to draw interest into the recently developed area.

Oh wow! Nothing like that could be built here in the US, the neighbors would complain. :(

That’s not necessarily true.
There is even an HGTV show about odd houses called “what’s with that house?” or something.
It’s not at all uncommon, actually, to see houses with similar ideas across the U.S.

What shape is the toilet?
&
You’d hope the bathroom was acoustically designed….. just to get the maximum from that singing in the shower experience……

That would come with a small downside as well. I for one wouldn’t care for that other part of bathroom usage being so much an acoustic experience…

Look around the building. Why don’t they build it closer to a City so people can actually see it?

I was planning to design the same thing. Had the idea a few years back for our retirement home/beach resort/villa in the island of Upolu Samoa. My design was going to be more to scale of a grand using the foot pedals as an elevator. It was to be built on a hill side overlooking the water. Difference is the chinese got off their butts and got the project off the ground, probably ontime and under budget with nobuilding consent probs. Liked the idea bout the violin..awesome job guys.

Eeerm, sorry to rain on your parades guys but, frankly, I think is’s tacky as all get out. It looks like it could have been designed to be public lavatories in Las Vegas. Sorry, just my opinion.

Fake. The black keys are missplaced.

The violin reminds me of the 5th avenue Apple store in New York City. This is way more impressive though!
