Barbeque Trains are Cooking in Japan
100 passengers from across Japan tested out the new Tsugaru Tetsudo railway with pot-belly stoves in the carriages to provide the first sauna train you can barbeque food in.

The temperature when the train ran on Aug 5 was about 29 degrees, but with the stoves fired up it reached about 50 degrees inside the train compartments.
Passengers were offered sautéed squid to eat as they traveled but found they had little appetite with the intense heat.
“I took part because I believed that I could lose weight,” a 26-year-old man from Goshogawara said. “The heat (inside the train) was beyond my imagination.”
