its just so unfair to these animals
even though they are cultures, its completely UNFAIR!!!
yeah we eat chicken and lobster and cows
but those are the animals that god gave us to eat.
and god gave us rabbits, dogs, and cats to have as companions and most people dont take it that way.
the koreans, philippines, chinese, and asians need to see that they are supposed to be pets not FOOD!!!

i feel really upset for these animals that are tortured
i mean only 16% of dogs and cats in south korea are used as pets. the 84% more is used as food. this is so barbaric and i cant stand one more second of it!!
if they want food then they should at least kill it fast so it doesnt have to stand the pain!! i will make a difference soon

guys all we need to do is oray that god will fix this problem. even if you dont believe. god can do anything. prayer is the most powerful thing. it makes a bigger difference than just going out there and doing it yourself. please guys i just ask you to pray for these innocent animals. PLEASE

ok, to start off, i’ve been working in kitchens for a number of years now. there is a fundamental difference between Cats and Lobster (a debate that keeps resurfacing in these responses) cat, being a mammal would actually taste worse if it was tortured, due to secretions from pain and fear. that being said, a cat is certainly not self aware “pain” to a cat is simply self preservation, they don’t feel it the same way a human would.
lobsters on the other hand, MUST be cooked alive to be able to be eaten properly, and allthough they do feel pain, they essentially are simple insects, they don’t so much have a brain as they do a simple nervous system. lobster is INCREDIBLY low on the intelligence scale, and unlike cat, if you look at it ethically, it HAS to be cooked alive.
and for christ sake, stop arguing the ethics of eating animals at all, the most retarded comment i saw was about how we should have to hunt our animals, hate to break it to you folks, but we -ARE- above animals, they are not equal, a pitifully small percent of animals in nature are even self aware, unfortunately we mistake cunning, instincts, and playfulness for intelligence. if a cat is raised for it, then it is a valid food source, we are omnivores, look at your teeth, we have both types needed for plant and meat eating. and to be generally healthy, we should really balance both.

also, unrelated, but REDTEK “china will burn in a nuclear fire in the upcoming war with the united states”? what the hell are you smoking? china owns a huge portion of american companies and controls a LOT of debt, also, both countries are VERY friendly, from an economic standpoint, they’d both be screwing eachother over if they went to war… and trust me, if two nuclear powers go to war, EVERYTHING will burn. the u.s.a. isn’t the nifty super power it was even 10 years ago.
