Man Arrested for Throwing Water
The problems began after Hoshino painted a shared corridor without permission, scribbled graffiti on the apartment block’s mailbox area and stuck a paper that said “liar” on one resident’s front door.
The neighbors decided to confront the 60 year-old Koji Hoshino with their complaints and found themselves covered with water for their efforts.
Koji didn’t deny he acted out but blames the action on his 74 and 64 year-old neighbors.
“They were the bad ones. How can you get arrested just for throwing water?” Hoshino told the police.
Police said earlier this week Hoshino kicked his next-door neighbor’s door and screamed “Shut up!” When the neighbors went to Hoshino’s apartment to complain, he threw water over them, police said.
