At $.06 per dead fly the officials stated they thought it was better than a plan that would fine people for filthy establishments.

Many residents have started visiting the local trash dumps to collect mass amounts of flies.

Hu says that in only one day, his office has collected more than 2 000 dead flies in six communities, and paid out more than $130.

The good thing is that people like Wong, a master martial arts fly killer, can now make some decent money with their unusual talents. Wong is reported to have killed over 500,000 flies when we reported the story last year.

Fly breeding might become an industry. A little meat, some jars with gauze and you are one your way.
