Another 120 people competed for the event which was reportedly organized by a local chamber of commerce and industry organization.

The contest involves throwing clamshells using on chopsticks. The student was reportedly a little disappointed with his efforts as he felt that he could have made at least 32.8 yards, or 30 meters.

He plans to enter the competition next year if it is held again in an attempt to better his record.
