Company Forces Employees to Beg for Money

A company in Nanjing drew widespread criticism last Thursday after it sent its employees out to beg for money in an attempt to develop their talent.

Dozens of young people were spotted begging for money in front of a big shopping mall on Thursday morning. Only a few of them managed to collect any coins from pedestrians before a security guard drove them away.

One of them said they were working for a company and that begging was a part of a skills-development program organized by the management. A local psychologist said the approach was taking the idea to an extreme.

I've had a job like that. It's called working as a telephone "sales person" for a non-profit cause!
