Fed up with her businessman husband never coming home until the early hours, Huang decided to shave her head.

By doing so, Huang can no longer accompany her husband at social events relating to his business, which will inconvenience him. She said she will continue to keep her head shaved until her husband mends his ways.

Lol, that’s an interesting punishment o.O

I’m not familiar with China, but is that a big deal there? (Since it said she can’t go to business events with him - but is that a rule, or just embarrassing for him?)

And, since she did it has punishment for him, I wonder how she feels about being bald.

Well not only Chinese women but I’d say Asian female population is quite submissive. Moreover, a bald women could suffer social pressure. It’s about cultural differences, maybe think in this way. Probably it’s not ethically correct to eat pigeons or even snakes in western countries, but in china is quite common. Same thing with homosexuality, probably in the western countries is seen as something normal, but in Asia (generally speaking) is seen as a disease.

Have you been to China? Recently, I mean. In case you haven’t, not all Asian women are “quite submissive” as you think–especially now. Asian countries, like China, are becoming more and more “Westernized,” and thus are adopting “Western” viewpoints and practices. Basically, it means Asian women, especially in large cities, are acting like their “Western” counterparts. This whole “submissive” stereotype is just that–a stereotype. It’s a stereotype based off of (very) early “Western” thinking. So unless you think “Western” women (ex. American women) are “submissive,” then please don’t use that adjective to describe Asian women.

They are only submissive if you keep them on a regular beating regimen.

Really how many women from ANYWHERE do you think are quiet, submissive and do whatever they are told?

Anyone who believes that is either a gay, cloistered monk or for some other reason has never met any of the other half of our species.

I told my Chinese GF, when she said she was the #1 girlfriend that of course she was #1… #2 is in Chendu, #3 zai Beijing…

She hit me and said “AIYA! I better be number one ONLY girlfriend or I kill you!” Then she kissed me and said no other GF will be as good to me as she would anyway and then later in the car she checked my cellphone for strange numbers and went through all my texts too.

LOL, does that sound any different from girls anywhere else in the world?

BTW If she shaved her beautiful, long black hair Id just die. I love it!
