Zookeeper Claims Elephant Speaks Korean

The zookeeper said he heard familiar Korean words spoken by a 15-year-old elephant.

Initially, he couldn’t believe it, so he had assistants tape the elephant at night.

The zookeeper said the tape revealed that the animal was apparently practicing pronunciation at night.

A professor at a local electronics school analyzed the tape and said the elephant apparently has found a way to speak at a frequency which can be heard by humans.

Elephant voices are usually at a frequency too low to be heard by the human ear.

Here is a clip about the elephant. Unfortunately it is in Korean, but you will hear the elephant speak!
