Japanese Aquarium Frozen Solid
In the city of Kessennuma, Japan, an odd sort of Aquarium has sparked some attention. Probably due to the fact the entire display of fish are frozen solid.

Perhaps they were looking to get more visitors to the Aquarium by making it so unique or perhaps some smart person deducted that they could save a fortune in fish food. Either way the result is a somewhat unique approach to displaying the local fish from Kessennuma waters.
The Aquarium is an arrangement of 40 ice blocks displaying 450 specimens (80 varieties) of local marine life. The room temp of the Aquarium is kept at a cool -20 Celsius.
