Serial Nailer Strikes Again
A nail has been found in a loaf of bread sold at a supermarket here, the sixth such discovery over the last two months, according to police.
Nails have been found in a croquette, a fried shrimp and other kinds of food sold at the supermarket, the Palty Fuji Uwajima outlet, in five other cases from March this year. Investigators suspect that the same person may be responsible for all the six cases, and are treating them as an obstruction of business.
The bread was purchased from the supermarket on Tuesday, and the nail found stuck in it Friday morning. Nobody was injured.
