Married, with kids, to a woman you don’t know

Following a motorbike accident a Chinese man says he has forgotten his wife.

Wei Guangyi, of Xinyang City, Henan province, initially suffered total amnesia after hitting a lamp post.

But, after two days in hospital, he could remember everything - except his wife of nine years, Yang Jing, reports Eastern Today.

“He remembers the names of people who’ve visited him, and information about his work,” said Yang.

“But he pointed at me and asked my daughter, “Who is this woman?” I was so surprised to hear that.

“I showed him our wedding picture and asked who was beside him. He told me, “That’s my classmate.”

“When he is changing, he pushes me out of the room, and tells me every time that I shouldn’t cook for him, since I’m a guest of his house.”

The chief surgeon at Xinyang 1st Hospital says the phenomenon is “inexplicable”

Maybe he can fall in love with his wife all over again. Talk about a fresh relationship.
