Well actually not Harry, but we do have Sirius. Although he also has nothing at all to do with the Potter boy, he is damn well weird enough to hang with us.

So we welcome thee oh great and wonderfully weird Sirius to Weird Asia News. Already hitting us with a wonderfully weird report about a Cat that adopted a mouse it was initially brought in to kill, Sirius will be bringing you all sorts of additional weird tales.

We additionally welcome him to comment on this post and tell a little bit about himself for our faithful readers who likely have skimmed past this entire post and read his weird report already.

Anyone else interested in becoming a contributor to Weird Asia News is welcome to email us.

    Hi all

Thanks for the welcome Sun! It is really great to be a part of the weirdasianews family.

I have been living in China for the past two years and have been absolutely fascinated by the strange stories that make the news. Asia is certainly the place to be if you are wanting the strange, bizarre and sometimes quite gross news!

People often ask me whether ‘Sirius’ is taken from the Harry Potter books. Well the answer is a lot stranger than you may think! I have been using this nick for over 17 years now – from the early days before the WWW (and Harry Potter). I got the nick from the Sirius star system.

As I have always liked the bizarre, strange and unexplained, I was drawn to this star system as it has some mystery attached to it. For more info, take a look at this web page: http://www.ufoevidence.org/topics/Dogon.htm

Thanks again for the welcome! I hope that you all enjoy my contributions to the site!

    Regards
    Sirius
