Chinese Firefighters put out farm fire with urine
Fire-fighters in Chengdu, Sichuan, made history last Friday by extinguishing a fire with urine.
The fire had broken out in two farmhouses in Lianxing Village in the city’s Qingbaijiang District. Fire-fighters first tried pumping water from the village’s two wells, but the wells soon ran dry.
Upon learning that the village also had two sewage tanks, the fire-fighters decided to pump out the urine and finally put out the fire.
