Stabbing husband is a side effect of sleeping pills

A Hong Kong woman said she had stabbed her husband with a pair of scissors after taking Stilnox, a sleeping pill that has been found to cause some strange behavior, the Ming Pao reported.

The Food and Drug Administration in the US last week ordered manufacturers of 13 popular sleeping aids to add warning labels to their drugs to notify users that they were at risk of driving, cooking, eating and even having sex while sleeping after taking the pills.

The Hong Kong woman, 39, did not wound her husband because the scissors she picked up were not sharp. Still, the couple had to sleep in separate rooms afterwards to avoid more scares. She also apparently beat her own head with a torch while asleep. The woman did not recall any of these events upon waking.

Although the fact that the woman had a torch with which to beat herself with makes us concerned to begin with. Seriously, who keeps torches lying around the bedroom?
