Drunk guy pranks police to test response time

A drunkard from Taiyuan, Shanxi, was taken into custody on Friday after crying wolf to local police.

A team of police descended on a local hotel to stop a fierce fight after getting a call through the 110 police hotline. However, upon arriving at the hotel, they found a relatively peaceful scene.

The drunkard then approached them, stinking of wine, to announce that the call was really just an experiment to test the police’s response time.
